Great room with cathedral ceilings & open floor plan

The great room, which is located off the kitchen, is used as both dining and living space. Open floor plan flows nicely and you can be working in the kitchen and still participating in conversation or keeping an eye on your little ones. Cathedral ceilings give this room a bright and airy feeling while the granite surround wood burning fireplace is a pleasant focal point and gathering place on cold winter evenings. You can see how the great room also flows into the office with lovely curtained french doors.

Recessed hall nook used as "mud room"

We use this area as a mud room: to take shoes and coats on and off. This used to be a hallway closet for the washer and dryer. The hook ups are still located here if you should desire to move the washer and dryer back to the main floor.

The front room - office or media room

This room is great - large and multi-functional! It has curtained french doors at both entries so you can close them when you need quiet, or watch a movie in a completely dark room with the curtains drawn.

This last photo shows a view into the great room with the cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan.
